Borobudur & Prambanan Day Tour
Two thousand years of civilisation in a single day. You start at Prambanan as the morning light hits the towers — three spires rising 47 metres, carved with the entire Ramayana. By midday your driver takes you west through the Kedu Plain to Borobudur, where an expert guide walks you through all nine terraces of the world's largest Buddhist monument. Hotel pickup, both tickets, both guides — everything arranged.
The most efficient and comfortable way to see both temples in a single day. Your air-conditioned private vehicle picks you up from your Yogyakarta hotel, takes you to Prambanan for a morning visit with a guide, then drives you to Borobudur for the afternoon. All official tickets, both expert guides, and all transfers between sites are included. The tour returns you to your hotel by late afternoon.

What time does the tour start?
Hotel pickup is at 08:00. If you prefer an earlier start, contact us after booking and we can arrange pickup from 07:00. An early start means arriving at Prambanan before the main crowds.
How many people can the vehicle carry?
The private vehicle accommodates up to 4 passengers comfortably. It's fully air-conditioned and used exclusively for your group — you won't be sharing with other tourists.
Is lunch included?
Lunch is not included but the driver can recommend and stop at excellent local restaurants en route between the two temples. Budget around €5–10 per person for a good local meal.
Can I add the Ramayana Ballet in the evening?
Yes — if your visit falls on a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday, this pairs perfectly with an evening Ramayana Ballet at Prambanan. Book the Ballet separately and let us know so we can plan timing. Your driver can also drop you at Prambanan for the evening show if you wish to return for it.
What is the cancellation policy?
All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable once we have purchased them on your behalf. The only exception is if we cannot secure your tickets, in which case we refund you in full within 24 hours.
Does my name need to match my passport?
Yes — the name you enter at checkout is used for both official tickets. Enter your name precisely as it appears on your passport. If you make a mistake, contact us immediately at [email protected].
