Where do I meet for sunrise?
Meet at the Manohara Cultural Centre — not the main park entrance. It's on the east side of the complex at Jl. Badrawati, Borobudur. Allow 45 minutes from central Yogyakarta. Your confirmation email includes a map.
Is photography allowed?
Personal photography inside the temple structure is not permitted as of 2025. Tripods are allowed at sunrise for stabilisation. Mobile phones may be used for photos outside the main structure.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your visit date. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. Email [email protected] with your order reference to cancel.
Is sunrise available on Mondays?
Yes — the sunrise experience runs every day including Mondays. Only the Temple Structure daytime climb is restricted on Mondays for conservation maintenance.
What if it's cloudy?
The experience runs regardless of weather. On overcast mornings the atmosphere is often more dramatic — the mist, the silence, and the ancient stone are extraordinary in any light. Refunds are not available for weather.
