A guided visit takes 2–3 hours to complete all nine terraces properly. Arrive 30 minutes early for sandals and guide briefing.
What are upanat sandals?
Special sandals that must be worn on the temple to protect the ancient stone. Provided at entry, included in your ticket. Wear comfortable footwear underneath.
Which session time is best?
08:30 is the coolest and most popular. 09:30 and 10:30 are also good choices. Avoid 12:30–14:30 in dry season — the midday heat on exposed stone can be intense.
What is the cancellation policy?
All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable once we have purchased them on your behalf. The only exception is if we cannot secure your tickets, in which case we refund you in full within 24 hours.
Does my name need to match my passport?
Yes — exactly. The name you enter at checkout is printed on your official ticket, and staff check this against your passport at entry. Enter your name precisely as it appears on your passport. If you make a mistake, contact us immediately at bookings@borobudurtickets.net before your visit.
